Our Timeline Process
and your investment in the Tiny Home of your dreams

Phase One
This is where the journey begins for your Tiny Home dreams. We start with a series of questions to really dig deep into what is important to you and what are your Tiny Home intentions. Downsizing and decluttering is an important part of this phase.

Phase Two
During Phase Two, we start to construct the visions, must-haves and space usage to create the Tiny Home of your dreams. This is when we are putting the project in motion. We initiate creating the cost breakdowns, features and details of your build and set a build schedule. At this time, Rulaco Tiny Homes and our customer enter into a contract for the build. A 50% Deposit required. The Deposit is for the purchase of a Tiny Home Trailer, Framing Package, Siding, Windows, Sheathing and Roofing. Lead times presently range from 4-8 weeks for these products.

Phase Three
This is the fun part! Part of the joy of living tiny is designing the home. The opportunity to place your personality in your new Tiny Home happens here. We sit down and go over the options for the Layout, Siding, Cabinets and Hardware. We work with you to include what works best in your new Tiny Home. Decisions are made and we are now closer to defining the build.

Phase Four
Now that all the final decisions have been put together, we start the build process with a signed, ready to build agreement. This gives both parties the focus and vision to create the home of your dreams.

Phase Five
The Build begins with sourcing materials, planning and soon the construction of your new Tiny Home. Usually there is a 4-8 week lead time for arrival of your custom Tiny Home Trailer and Window Package from our manufacturers. Our relationship with our partners ensures a timely scheduled delivery of these two most important pieces of your build. Material gathering and planning are in full construction mode. While we eagerly await the arrival of your trailer, windows and additional items we continue working with you to go over all the finishes and special touches. If we have the trailer in our inventory, the schedule speeds up considerably. You now see the plan we put together begin to take shape.

Phase Six
The 10 week build stage is in full swing. During this phase, we will be building your tiny home to NOAH+ Standard, ANSI 119.5, NFPA 70(NEC), IRC including Appendix q. There is a 5 stage NOAH Certified inspection process that must be completed to ensure safety and build quality during the course of your build. NOAH Certified is a nationally recognized third party inspection company used in the Tiny Home Industry. Draws will be invoiced after completion of passed inspections during this stage. A detailed payment schedule will be provided.

Phase Seven
We complete the build of your new dream Tiny Home. During this phase we have completed all needed inspections, tested all features and complete a final walk through to ensure that all details have been checked and your Tiny Home is ready for your journey. Once the NOAH Certificate of Compliance has been received by passing the 5 stage NOAH inspections process, your Tiny Home is ready for delivery. A final payment must be paid before delivery can be scheduled.

You are now “Built to Wander.”
